Hi everyone! First of all, thank you so much for stopping by-- if you have visited my blog before, you might notice a lot is different around here! My blog started out as a little hobby of mine over two years ago, and overtime took the back burner to my oh so busy life (I know, I know-we are all busy…not the best excuse, forgive me). However, now I am back!! I am so excited for the re-launch and to bring you guys some ahh-mazing fashion, hair, and everything in between. Gal About Town is for the everyday gal on the go, always on the hunt for a bargain, showcasing chic, effortless style. Thank you so much for following along!
Ohh Valentine's Day, where do I begin? I feel like this is one of the most loved/hated holidays all rolled into one! Personally, I have always enjoyed Valentines Day-- I am a sucker for anything pink or red, so the decor and cute cards alone are enough for me (have you guys seen the target V-day section this year?! OMG)! If you have a significant other, it's nice to have a day to celebrate your relationship (a nice dinner and chocolate doesn't hurt either). However if you are single, its the perfect opportunity to rally with your other single girlfriends to drink wine and vent about how much you hate men… wait I am pretty sure that happens anytime you get together with your girlfriends ;) Regardless, its an occasion where you can dress up… and who doesn't love that?
I have had this red Express party skirt since Christmas and did not get a chance to wear it, so this is the perfect occasion! It's so fun-- also with a high waist, this is flattering on many body types (especially if you have larger hips). I paired it with a bublegum pink romper…yes, I said there is a romper underneath there! Such a great way to get more use out of some of your other pieces of clothing, it was also nice because I was not having to constantly tuck it back in! Pair it with some nude heels to elongate the legs and you are ready to go for a date night with your guy or a night of wine and man hating with your best girlfriends!
So honored to have been a part of the first official post for your new blog! LOVE the name!! Can't wait to see more posts.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this relaunch and love YOU! Cutest thing. XO
