Floral Set

Floral Blazer: Missguided | Floral Shorts: Missguided | Pink Top: here | Heels: Old, identical here | Necklaces: Kendra Scott | Sunnies: Ray-Ban

Two piece sets? I feel like they are one of those things where you see them and think "whoa! too matchy-matchy"….. and then they start to grow on you! I will admit it took me a whole minute to catch on.

Now I am obsessed and they are great because you can wear them together, or as separates! Any items you can get multiple wears and outfits out of are a win in my book.

So I moved into a new apartment over this past weekend. For the first time ever I hired movers-- lets just say my boyfriend and my dad were so relieved, because lets be real- the men do most of the work. Seriously the best money I have ever spent, it was SO worth it!
I am so excited to get our (my roommate, Stephanie an I) bachelorette pad decked out! One thing I am super excited about is our apartment has an office which I am transforming into a "closet room"- will share with you all once it is finished of course!
If you guys have any recommendations for cute decor or furniture, help a girl out! Keep in mind I have champagne taste and a beer budget, AKA a $1000 coffee table is out of the question. Help us… we're poor!
Would love to hear your home decor favorites!

Yellow Romper

Romper: Local boutique, similar here | Wedges: Old, similar here | Clutch: Anthropologie old, loving this one | Earrings: Kendra Scott | Sunnies: Ray-Ban

I know I sound like an old broken record when it comes to talking about rompers…. but when you live in a climate like Texas where you walk outside and can literally feel your face melting off in .5 seconds (seriously…the struggle is real), you need something light, airy, and simple.

I would suggest investing in a few solid colored rompers. These are great because you can get multiple wears out of them, pairing with different shoes and accessories. I threw on some neutral wedges for this look, but some strappy heels could easily transition this into a night out outfit!

Again, I just want to thank all of you who stop by to read this little blog of mine. If there are any questions you have, or anything you want to see on here, please comment or shoot me an email! I love you guys and your feedback. Group hug. Alright….time for a margarita?

Hi pretties! Sorry for the absence, I was in San Francisco and Napa with my boyfriend over the past week. It is so nice to just get away and take some time to recharge. What a great trip it was-- I loved San Francisco, but holy micro climates! It was hot, then cold, then windy, then freezing. This Texas girl could not keep up! As much as I enjoyed San Francisco, I have to say that Napa took the cake. OMG Napa was absolutely beautiful, our hotel The Carneros Inn was like heaven on earth…we did not want to leave. Oh and of course there was wine…. LOTS of wine (le' duh). We are already planning our next trip back!

Now on to this outfit…. When we came back to Texas it officially felt like summer. That means bring on the boob sweat (the struggle is real), and denim shorts. I practically live in denim shorts during the summer. These boyfriend shorts from Urban Outfitters are everything- I own every color. They are the perfect length, not baby gap short, not middle age mom long. Trust me, when you are in your mid twenties, finding the perfect pair of shorts is gold (insert praise God hands)! I dressed my shorts up with a floral blazer for a feminine touch-- perfect look for date night!
