For those of you that are not familiar with Texas weather, we really don't have "seasons". It is either hot, or kind of cold cold (anything below 60 degrees). So sundresses pretty much make up half of my wardrobe, and I will probably be sporting them for the next month or so. I see so many of my other fellow bloggers embracing this fall weather, pleaseeee Texas, get it together so all of us girls can stop looking crazy trying to wear our fall clothes when it's still 90 outside!

Ladies in Leather

Hi everyone, today I am once again teaming up with one of my favorite ladies, Meredith from Create That Outfit! Today we are showcasing how we style leather for fall, this fall season leather will be EVERYWHERE! Meredith is wearing a black leather romper with some adorable detailed cutouts at the bottom! How cute is that?! I think the cutouts add a fun feminine touch, and as always, to transition an outfit or for a new look just add a blazer. I styled my leather skirt with my trusty chambray... You will probably see me wearing my chambray shirts at least once a week FYI. I cannot wait to purchase some more leather pieces for fall.... Next on my list is a tan leather top! BTW-- how fabulous is Meredith?! Thank you so much for collaborating with me!

As much as I wish I could be cozied up in boots and sweaters, Texas is not having this fall weather! Seriously ya'll I have been purchasing fall/winter clothes since July... They are teasing me in my closet. I love the scallop detail on these shorts, gives them a feminine touch. Hope everyone had a great weekend, I attended my cousins wedding in Mississippi which was absolutely beautiful, and the weather was perfect!

Taking White to Fall

Hi everyone, I am SO excited to introduce you to my sweet friend, Meredith from Create That Outfit! Meredith is a fellow Dallas gal like myself, not only is she a total sweetheart, but her style is amazing-- this girl can literally pull off everything! Today we are showing different ways to incorporate white into your fall wardrobe. Meredith has showcased these killer white pumps, which are a perfect addition to add a pop of white into an outfit. For my outfit I decided to take one of my white summer dresses and transition it to fall by putting one of my favorite fall sweaters over it. You can transform many of your favorite spring/summer dresses by adding a sweater or blazer on top. This outfit was also very comfortable-- my style is pretty casual for the most part so this outfit was right up my alley.

Mix Up

Well today may be officially October, but that means nothing here in Texas... So I am still sporting shorts, dresses, and skirts on the reg. Love these watercolor floral shorts from Forever 21, throw on a striped tee with basically any print, and you've got print mixing down.
