Romp Around

Romper: FOI Clothing | Wedges: Old, similar here | Clutch: Rebecca Minkoff | Necklace: Kendra Scott | Sunnies: Ray-Ban | Bangles: Kendra Scott | Ring Stack: Henri Bendel

Real talk, I la-la-LOVE me some rompers! They are feminine, fun, and you don't have to deal with "does this top match these bottoms?", "do I half tuck my shirt?, "are my shorts already wrinkled?!"-- seriously, #girlprobs. Rompers are an easy go-to whether you are going to brunch with your girlfriends, running errands, or out and about for a night!
I was skeptical about rompers at first because it took me awhile to find one that fit- I have a very long torso so my normal size would fit great everywhere else but (for lack of better phrase) would be going up my butt! So I would definitely suggest buying rompers in store as opposed to online, unless you are okay with potentially having to return which I know can be a hassle. I have quite a few trips coming up, I know rompers will probably be on repeat, there are quite a few I have my eye on!

Feminine Bohemian

Slip Dress: Old, very similar here | Hat: Milk & Honey, similar option here

Like I have said before, I have fashion schizophrenia-- and this day I was feeling a little bohemian. I love this look, it is comfortable, airy, and fun! This lace slip and pink lips add a little feminine touch!
Also, if you know me, you know that I only wash my hair like twice a week. When dry shampoo just isn't cutting it or I am literally on day 4, hats are my saving grace!

Phoebe Dress

Dress: Phoebe by Kay Unger ℅ | Sandals: Calvin Klein | Earrings: Kendra Scott

I have touched on this before but I am going to again…. It is wedding season gals! Most of the weddings I will be attending are a little more casual, however, I do have a few formal weddings and events coming up as well (hello open bar). As women, we love any excuse to get dressed up and break out the formal wear- it is like adult prom with less tacky dresses ( I got out my old prom dresses this weekend, holy sequins. What was I thinking?!). Good news is, I have got you covered! Phoebe by Kay Unger has some of the most beautiful pieces for formal events, bridal showers, and everything in between. Hello vibrant colors, fun prints, and embellishment- it is like all of my favorite details in one line! OBSESSING over this dress here, love me some color blocking! Can't wait to twirl around on the dance floor in this little number, glass of champs in hand, of course!

Happy Tuesday!

Outtakes: For every "good" picture I post, there are probably 20 not-so-good photos taken! Resting bitch faces, wardrobe malfunctions, a bad angle, mid sentence, and my biggest issue- my long hair! Long hair + wind= the struggle is real. If I happen to be wearing lipgloss….game over! Trust me, blogging and taking pictures is not as glamorous as you may think- when we were shooting this outfit the wind was out of control… here is a glimpse of 70% of what our shots entailed!

Feminine Lace

Top: ASOS | Jeans: Gap | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Shoes: Just Fab | Necklace: Kendra Scott |
Bangles: Kendra Scott

Jeans?! Take a mental picture ladies and gents, because this is not a common sight-- especially during the spring and summer months! This look is feminine, yet casual! I love the lace detailing at the bottom of this top- perfect for spring! Can't wait to pair this top with some white shorts for a white on white look :)
